Tea Time!

Do you drink Tea? If not, now is a good time to start. There is more and more evidence that drinking a cup of tea every day can prevent more dangerous diseases in our body to develop.

Perhaps you already have heard about the power of the Green tea: builds up your immunity, lowers the cholesterol levels, helps with tooth conditions, and also it prevents cancer. This tea contains EGCG one of the most powerful antioxidants ever discovered. ( Wikipedia - EGCG ) The Black Tea takes the honorable no: 2 on our list. Using Black Tea, or Green Tea on a regular basis is a really good idea to boost your immune system up and to prevent disease. Depending on the flavor you can sustain, Green Tea is a little heavier to drink than black tea, one of the reasons many people avoid it, but it has better preventive health preferences. Now let us address some potions (types of tea) you can use in your everyday life:

Dealing with pain in your stomach & gas (Fast and efficient)

- A mixture of cardamom ( Wikipedia - Cardamom )
will give you a tasteful and fast solution for the cramps in your stomach and presence of gas, especially when overeating. You can drink this tea in the moment you feel pain in your stomach after your meal, or 15 minutes before your meal. Eg. When my grandma cooks I know I am going to overeat, so I drink it before my meal. 
Recipe: ¼ teaspoon Cardamom, ½ teaspoon of Caraway (Wikipedia - Caraway) 1 slice of a fresh Ginger root. ( Wikipedia - Ginger  ) Adding ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon is also good if you have it handy. Take 1 teacup and add this mixture to it. Fill in the cup with boiling water and leave it for 10 minutes, then filtrate and drink your Tea.   

Dealing with Insomnia
- For insomniacs or if you have occasional insomnia, a really bad idea is sleeping pills. The main reason is that they can get you addicted. Here are some natural ways how to approach this:
Recipe: Take two flowers of Chamomile ( Wikipedia – Chamomile ), one flower of Lavender (Wikipedia - Lavender ), two or three milled nuts. Take 1 teacup and add this mixture to it. Fill in the cup with boiling water and leave it for 5 minutes, then filtrate and drink your Tea. You can drink this couple of times of the day or before going to sleep.
Dealing with a cold.
- Any hot tea is a really good choice when you are finding yourself in a situation to fight with a cold, treating yourself after a cold day and you have difficulty in breathing, shivering and coughs. What is recommended: Tea using Althaea Officinalis (Wikipedia - Althaea Officinalis ) for pain in your throat, calming down your lungs inflammation, and speeding up the natural healing process.
Recipe: For preparing this tea you will need the root of Althaea Officinalis also known as “marshmallow”. Chop it down to pieces, then take 2 teaspoons of the previously chopped root and place it in a cup. Fill that cup with boiling water, wait for 15 minutes. Then Filter it out and drink your Tea.

Useful Stinging Nettle or Urtica dioica  ( Wikipedia - Stinging Nettle )
Everyday consumption out of this tea will give you a lot of advantages. For men who have to urinate often, usually indicates to an enlarged prostate. This Tea can help with regeneration and growth of the prostate tissue. Also, it can be used as a regulator if a person suffers from high blood pressure, and it will also reduce the pain women have during the menstrual cycle. 
Recipe: Take 2 teaspoons of dried leaf of the stinging nettle, and place them in a cup of hot water. Leave them for 5 minutes then filtrate and drink your Tea.
